P.S. I Love You is a 2007 film directed by Richard LaGravenese and starring Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler. It is based on the novel by Cecelia Ahern. 

An adaptation of the best-selling Cecelia Ahern novel, PS, I Love You, about a grieving young widow (Hillary Swank) who discovers her late husband has left her a list of tasks revealed in 10 monthly messages that are intended to ease her out of grief and transition her to a new life.
