Michelle Marsh (b. 30 September 1982) is
an English glamour model noted for her large, natural
breasts. Michelle Marsh was born in Oldham, Lancashire,
England. Growing up in a large, supportive family ,
Michelle took an early interest in modeling, singing and
acting.
Between the ages of 4 and 6, Michelle
modeled with Kids and Co.; when she was 11, she began
appearing in local and school productions of musicals
like Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,
Oliver!, The Wizard of Oz, The Sound of Music, and
Annie.
Biography: Marsh was born in Royton, in the
Metropolitan Borough of Oldham, Greater Manchester,
England,and attended Crompton House School.
She was interested in singing, acting and modelling from
a young age, and initially appeared as an extra on soap
operas such as Brookside. She later entered the TV
sound-alike contest Stars in Their Eyes as Emma Bunton
and competed in ITV's singing competition Popstars,
before focusing on modelling. In 2002 she became a Page
Three girl for The Sun newspaper, and in 2003 she
started a successful modelling partnership with Lucy
Pinder.
She has appeared in many lads' mags such as Loaded,
Perfect 10, Nuts, Maxim, Zoo and Playboy. In the UK FHM
100 Sexiest Women poll 2005 Marsh was a new entry and
finished 33rd overall. She finished in 47th in the 2006
poll. She has a tattoo of a religious cross with angel's
wings bearing the word "Blessed" written
across the middle on her lower back. It often appears in
her current magazine shoots.
In December 2000, Michelle took her first step toward
modeling fame. She appeared as a bikini babe on the
cover of the British tabloid the Daily Star. The
following April, she was a runner-up in The Sun's Miss
Cleavage competition, earning her further promotional
work for the tabloid around Britain. In the spring of
2002, Michelle made her solo singing debut, albeit at a
small pub in her hometown.
Music Career: On 6 November 2006 Marsh released
her first single "I Don't Do", which reached
number five in the UK Indie Chart, but failed to appear
in the Top 20 UK Singles Chart it charted at 27 in the
UK charts then dropped to 39 by its second week.
TV Career: Marsh featured in the video to 4-4-2's
single "Come On England", released ahead of
UEFA Euro 2004. She has appeared on TV in The X Factor:
Battle of the Stars, and Trust Me - I'm A Beauty
Therapist. Recently, (Oct to 2006 to Jan 2007) she
co-hosted (with Richard Alexander), the second season of
The Steam Room on the digital channel Men and Motors,
the first season of which was hosted by Jo Guest.
Michelle took a big step in October of 2002 when she
appeared topless on page 3 of the Daily Star. On New
Year's Eve, she had her first singing gig at a club, and
the following March, Michelle was offered the ultimate
Page 3 gig for the famed tabloid The Sun. Numerous photo
shoots followed in rapid succession. As Michelle
continued to pose, she also made commercials, appeared
at motorcycle shows and even did a shoot at the Rugby
World Cup. On top of all this, Michelle continued to
foster her singing career, landing a regular monthly gig
at the Marston Tavern in Royton.
In 2006 Marsh was a panelist on Question Time, taking
part in a heated debate on the Iraq War with
ex-footballer Lee Sharpe. The pair would later march on
Downing Street in protest at the Blair-Bush axis.
Rumours of a romance followed, but both parties stressed
their only interest was the future of the free world.
Michelle has gone international with her modeling,
posing in such locales as the south of France, Portugal
and Mexico. Yet Michelle still stays based in Oldham;
she even helped judge a talent contest there in April of
2004. Michelle's family isn't at all taken aback by the
revealing photos that pay her bills. "My mum and
dad are absolutely fine about it, they collect
everything I do," she says. "When they saw how
happy I was they were really pleased for me. My dad runs
my website."
In fact, Michelle is so dedicated to her hometown that
she became engaged to one of Oldham's footballers, Will
Haining, in 2005. Michelle is also a part of the 2006
season of I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.
In April 2007, Marsh made a guest appearance as a
manager of a Boutique in ITV2's Reality TV show WAGs
Boutique.
Personal life: Marsh became engaged to Oldham
Athletic footballer, Will Haining on Valentines Day
2005. On 2 June 2007 Marsh and Hanning married, with the
groom telling guests: "You’ll have noticed
Michelle’s not drinking — because she is expecting
our first child." |
