Kristin Landen Davis (also listed as Kristin Lee Davis) (born February 23 or February 24, 1965 depending on the source) is an American Golden Globe and Emmy award-nominated actress best known for the role of Charlotte York on HBO's Sex and the City. In 2005, Davis starred in a television pilot entitled Soccer Moms in which she and Gina Torres star as two suburban mothers who moonlight as private detectives. Other films include The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3D, where she plays Max's mom, opposite David Arquette and George Lopez, and the Walt Disney Pictures film The Shaggy Dog, where she plays Rebecca Douglas, opposite Tim Allen, and Deck The Halls, opposite Matthew Broderick.
