Fernanda Motta (born in Rio de Janeiro,
Brazil on January 1, 1981) is a Brazilian fashion model.
She is the youngest child of a large extended family.
She fondly remembers the family gatherings where people,
about 100 of them, would play music, have a barbecue,
and relax by playing tennis and soccer.

would pay extra attention to her to make sure she had
the time of her life. She spent most of her years
growing up interacting with her friends. A favorite
activity during her teenage years was hanging out at the
beach.
Fernanda was discovered on Guarapari Beach just north of
Rio de Janeiro at the age of 16 by a talent scout. Since
then, she has appeared in 4 sports illustrated swimsuit
editions, most recently in 2007. She is usually found in
Bahia, with fellow model Ana Beatriz Barros.
