Elizabeth Jean "Busy" Philipps (born June 25, 1979, in Oak Park, Illinois) is a film actress known for a starring role in the acclaimed 2002 film Home Room, and supporting roles in the 2004 Wayans brothers film White Chicks, and on the TV series' Freaks and Geeks and Dawson's Creek. She appeared on the UPN sitcom Love, Inc., in a role originally intended for Shannen Doherty. The show lasted for one season (2005-2006) before being canceled. Since fall 2006, she has had a major recurring role as Hope on ER. She attended Loyola Marymount University at the same time as Colin Hanks and Linda Cardellini (her Freaks and Geeks and ER costar).
