Brittany Anne
Snow (born March 9, 1986 in Tampa, Florida) is an
American television and film actress. Snow began
modeling at the age of three in a print ad for Burdines.
She is a 2004 graduate of Gaither High School in Tampa,
Florida.
Career: Snow had a popular role at age twelve as
troubled teen Susan LeMay on the soap opera Guiding
Light from 1998 to 2001. She is perhaps best known for
playing Meg Pryor on NBC's American Dreams and Ariel, a
neo-Nazi high school student on the third season of
Nip/Tuck.
Brittany Snow made her debut on Guiding Light on
November 9, 1998 as Susan Lemay, a headstrong young girl
who is determined to forge a relationship with her
natural mother, Harley Spaulding, despite concern from
her adoptive father Jim Lemay.
Brittany began her career as a model at the age of 3
before moving on to commercials. To date, she has
appeared in fifteen national and regional commercials.
Brittany's television credits include the HBO
mini-series From the Earth to the Moon, Sea Quest, Soup
to Nuts and Inside Out.
Brittany's regional theater credits include Pirates of
Penzance, Annie, The King and I and South Pacific as
well as a national tour of Joseph and the Amazing
Technicolor Dreamcoat.
A straight-A student, Brittany resides in Tampa, Florida
with her parents John and Cinda. In addition to acting,
Brittany also enjoys all types of dance and has been a
member of Broadway Dance, LA Dance Force, LA Underground
and the Pizazz Competitive Dance Group.
In 2005, Snow appeared in The Pacifier with action star
Vin Diesel. In 2006, Snow was in the film John Tucker
Must Die and voiced Naminé in the video game Kingdom
Hearts II as well as Shizuku in the Hayao Miyazaki film,
"Whisper of the Heart." Brittany Snow will be
in Hairspray, a film adaptation of the Broadway musical,
alongside John Travolta in July 2007. She will be
playing the bratty Corny Collins Show queen Amber von
Tussle.
